Our furry friend and sponsor @wilfredwarrior wants Our furry friend and sponsor @wilfredwarrior wants you to meet a new cat in need; Zelda 💖 A good samaritan was driving to work and found Zelda on the side of the road. It appears she was hit by a car. They contacted an animal rescue organisation who came and got her 🥰  Zelda is in their care now but they charge no fees and receive no income so rely on fundraising to pay for their rescued animals' medical bills. It appears that Zelda needs treatment for her leg injuries (this video is heartbreaking and truly shows how she needs your help). If you would like to donate towards her leg treatment, or would just like to read more about Zelda, click the link in our bio ❤

We are the the only pet-dedicated crowdfunding platform that partners directly with veterinary providers. 100% of your donation is used to fund the patient's care.

"This past weekend Owen and I took the time to sit "This past weekend Owen and I took the time to sit down and calculate all of Luna’s bills as well as how much you all sent/donated/or purchased off our website to help out the Tuna in her time of need. In total we received $10,110.72 and Luna’s bills totaled in $4548.40. Because of all of you and your generous donations to help our sweet girl, we were able to donate $5562.32 to others in need. When we were doing our research to decide who to donate to, we wanted a mix of organizations and individual cats (part of our donations) went to @waggleforpets, which is crowdfunding specifically for pets in need of financial assistance due to medical needs. On here we found four cats two of which we were able to fully fund their medical procedures:

- Shayn received $309.80 to fix her eye infections that left both eyes sealed shut, de-worming and upper respiratory infection as he was a stray and his adopted dad is a student
- Two Boos who is the sole companion for a homeless women received $747.20 for her leg amputation after a bad break
- Shiro received $550 for radiation for her nasal cancer
- Spooky received $866 to go towards her rhinoplasty to help her breath after her parents lost their jobs due to COVID

Our biggest takeaway from this experience has been how many people and animals can be helped with $5000. When we got the quote for $15k to operate on Luna and we had to say no because we simply couldn't afford it was the lowest either of us has ever felt. We felt like bad parents as we were unable to provide for the being that we love most. I aspire to never know that feeling ever again, and it kills me to know how many people go through that everyday as they face life threatening health issues with their furry family members. You all helped us not feel that way and because we didn't need all that money, you all have now helped four other cats and countless others that the above organizations will help with these donations. With every fiber of our being thank you."

SUCCESS STORY "She had a short piece of clotheslin SUCCESS STORY "She had a short piece of clothesline tied to an old, filthy collar. She was starving and barely able to walk, but her tail just wagged. She still had some faith that someone would be nice to her. We named her Sansa, Queen of the North because she is a beautiful redhead who has been through some hell," said Susan L., from Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends (AARF • @aarfatlanta) — about this sweet girl who was abandoned at their rescue facility.

AARF staff rushed Sansa to see veterinarian Françoise Tyler at Village Vets in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The dog only weighed 26 pounds, half of what she was supposed to weigh. The medical staff immediately went to work to help Sansa, who was severely malnourished & heartworm positive.

Thank you to everyone who donated toward Sansa's care! She is gaining weight, is strong enough for vaccines, and has started her heartworm treatment. She has been doing great at her foster home and loves her 4-legged foster siblings.

How can you make a difference to dogs like Sansa in need of medical care? Become a monthly donor through our Waggle Foundation's FurEver Fund at the *link in our bio* or at WaggleFoundation.org
